Beloved friend, protector, companion and clown.
You never failed in your loyalty or courage. You patroled
our home while we slept. You stayed by our side when
we wept. You made us laugh with mock attacks on
slippers and toys. I will always remember how whenever
you saw a cat walking the fence you very quietly would
sneak up on it and with one massive BARK send the intruder
over the other side in terror. Then you would prance around
the back yard almost laughing at what you had done.
You were the most gentle creature we have ever known.
Your capacity for love was an example to us all.We will remember and miss you forever.
