With a tear in my eye; I had to say goodbye to my precious girl on Feb. 13, 2002. She was 13 1/2 years young at the time and thankfully lived a full, happy and healthy life clear up to her last days. She was the first to join the clan and the first to teach me the many joys of sharing my life with dogs. It is only fitting that she also be the first to leave the clan and in so doing teach me how to deal with the sorrow of separation. Cinder will always be in my heart and memory. She taught me the ropes and leaves her legacy for the clan to continue on. She will be patiently waiting at the bridge upon my arrival. I am sure she will look after all of the other fur kids that are still waiting for their loved ones.
